Infrastructure with Purpose

Our Mission

We create infrastructure that serves people, places and future generations.

Kabo Group is a privately-held Australian investment and development group with interests spanning energy, mobility, infrastructure, and culture. With a long-term outlook, the Group develops and operates essential assets that support everyday life—ranging from fuel retail and logistics to emerging opportunities in clean energy, modular housing, and sustainable development. Working in close partnership with leading international and local organisations, Kabo Group plays an active role in bringing global expertise to the Australian context. Alongside its commercial activities, the Group is committed to contributing to the cultural and social fabric of the regions in which it operates, supporting arts and community initiatives through its philanthropic arm, Project Eleven.

Our Values

Long-Term Stewardship – We build and manage assets with care, responsibility and a future-generations mindset.

Trusted Partnerships – We collaborate openly with global and local partners to deliver shared success.

Innovation with Integrity – We embrace new technologies and ideas while remaining grounded, practical and accountable.

Energy Transition – We actively support the shift toward renewable and low-carbon energy through practical, scalable infrastructure.

Cultural Contribution – We recognise the importance of arts, culture and community as essential infrastructure in their own right.

Our History

Kabo Group is spearheaded by its founder, Konfir Kabo. Konfir was formerly principal and founding partner of Kabo Lawyers. Since 2011, Konfir has been actively building a portfolio of fuel retail investments in Aksara. Starting from one site in Wollert, Victoria, Aksara has now developed over 70 sites across Australia.

From 2020, the group diversified into energy-related projects under the Fueltech brand. Believing in a sustainable future, Fueltech is a pioneer in bringing hydrogen dispensing technology to Australia.

Through our philanthropic initiative Project Eleven, we support artists and arts organisations across Australia and Southeast Asia with a particular focus on contemporary and experimental art. We believe that a vision of a sustainable future must include not only energy, technology, food and housing but human memory, connection and understanding through artistic expression.
